Chaintech
How i the Chaintech Geforce4 4200 "GT20" 64MB W/TV-Out and DVI Ports?
I am cnsdering getting this as my video card. thanks |

Chaintech I would consider some other brand such as the Gainward.

have the "GT21" 128MB... like it a lot, but the brand isn't very well known... i chose it because pcmech had a link at the top of the page to a 4 way card comparison, and the chaintech won. i also once got over 10500 on 3dmark1, but who knows how it will perform in the future.

My experience with chaintech has not been good. IMHO they are the ecs of video cards. Well, perhaps not that bad, but I'm not pleased with them.

Gainward makes a quality "low-end" card. I've had one for about 6 months now with no complaints or set-up problems. Go with their "golden sample packs" as they are easily overclockable.
Avoid Chaintech, if possible. |
