New catalysts for 8500
I'll let you know there influence on my 3dmarks in just a few.

Went down 50 points or so. =(
Maybe it's a quality thing. The drivers are optimized for SP1, which i haven't installed yet (ain't broke don't fix it mentality on this OS). I heard people's marks went down w/SP1. Anyone having problems with SP1, b/c i will install it. People w/8500's suggestions extra welcomed. |

Are you talking the 2.3 version of the Catalyst drivers?

My score also went down 50 points with the new drivers. Wonder what thats all about?........

l'il jimmie seems to have a positive effect can he has SP1, maybe I should do it too. Antbody else w/SP1 get a positive or negative boost?

my point went down about 300 with my 9700. with the 6166's and update.
