Poor Background Resolution
I have a picture on my desktop background that shows terrible resolution; very grainy and almost unviewable.
It is a JPG image, and when I view it with a viewer it is beautiful. I recently purchased a new monitor which made no difference. What am I doing wrong? |

in your background settings, select center, NOT stretch

also, jpeg pics will lose quality image when making it larger, like for your desktop... jpeg has good compression with a small size, but not if you want to enlarge it much... if you like saving pics for your desktop or want to enlarge them later on, i suggest saving them as TIFF files... yeah, the size of the file is larger, but you can keep good quality as you make them bigger.... was i just redundant?... sorry!
good luck |
