Radeon 9700 control panels
I was wondering if it is best to use the default settings under OpenGL and direct3D where the software chooses the ant-aliasing and the ansitropic filtering or should I turn them on manually and leave them on for good? Also, under the defaults, Trueform is always off. Isn't it better to have this always on???
BTW, This Radeon 9700 Pro is the most incredible card I have ever owned. My games look like a DVD movie!!!

Sincee your card is so good, i would force it. The games might not know how much power you've got there. I noticed w/my 8500 that leaving it up to the software hardly put it on.

Yep, set it to 4X AA and enable ansitropic filtering and Trueform.
That's what I use and completely happy with it. 6X AA could be an option too.

Turn on all the options, 4x AA and 16x Anisotropic filtering, along with Truform and all the other nice things ATI has with it. Then it'll look like a DVD x 2...
