Could anyone help me? I am trying to find out how I can convert all my value video tapes into vcd format so I can watch them on my computer. I don't know what to do, what I have to buy in order to connect my VCR into my PC, and what software I have to use. In fact I don't know anything.
Thank you very much in advance, |

Hi wareseeker,
Welcome to PC Mechanic !! ![]() That's a very tall question !! Since there are numerious Web sites dedicated to that very question, obviously to answer it in one post is not possible. In a very simplistic overview, you need: 1) a way to capture the video into the comuter -- there are numerious ways to do this. 2) you need to edit this raw footage -- again, there are many ways to do this. 3) you need to output your edited version -- numerious ways (sound familiar??) 4) and, depending how you save your work -- you need the hardware / software to view the finished product. Here is just one of many places to look at: www.vcdhelp.com HTH TwoRails |
