nVidia round-up

Alrighty,

First) Are there architectural differences between the TI4200, TI4400, and TI4600?

Second) If not, then can a TI4200 be pushed to TI4600 speeds?

Third) If not, why?

Fourth) What performance gain is expected with 128MB over 64MB

Fifth) Is the above gain cost-effective (ie worth it)?

Respectfully,

Demosthenes

1. No
2. Yes, but the 4600 can be pushed further
3. because it's faster by stock
4. not much, at this point...may as well get it though

Doom III will require a 128 meg vid card. Now, does that answer question number 4?

Read the TI 440 is overclockable bringing it level with 460..
thus making the 440 a better buy...
as for 64 128m decision ..mx range g4 run faster with 64m dont ask me why..TI range 128 m is a factor for future performance increase...
Having graphic card upgrade dilemas myself cant decide what to buy....
