video card question

What card would be good for me. I play a lot of RTS games and some Action/Adventure and RPG games. Not really no FPS game but want it powerful enough to handle them. I probably won't be building until Spring time when I land me a job but I'm working out the details of sample builds now.

...K... how much cash do you wanna lose? Did you wanna anticipate the performance trend in technology for a possible upgrade? What do you have now that you'd like to contrast your yet to be determined new vid card with? The longer you wait, the cheaper prices will be for more recent products offered on the market.

If you want something able to handle modern FPS games, go for the GF4 Ti series.

maybe you should wait a little before making any decisions.
the ge4 ti range is still fairly expensive - by the time you want to build it, the "buget" nv30 cards should be around - they might be the best bet
