tv-out not high quality picture
27" hdtv taking s-video out from a PNY gf4 ti 4400, for some reason the picture just doesn't look very good. it's not even as good as the picture coming from a ps2 or gamecube. anyone know why this might be and how it could improve?

at 1024x768 the text is nigh-unreadable and it doesn't even look as good as a 17" monitor displaying the same thing at 1024x768. is it supposed to be like that?

How far away is the computer to the TV. S-Video will start to degrade after several feet.

That's how mine is...the only time I use it is when I want to watch movies on my TV.

What TV chip does your graphics card have ? There are differences in quality, not every TV chip is good.
To find out which one you have, rightclick on desktop, choose properties, settings, advanced, GeForce 4, there you can see what TV chip your card has. RJ
