Unreal Tournament Save Games
I have an Unreal Tournament 'Tournament' saved, but I can't seem to find any save file in my UT game folder
Any ideas how I can back it up (I'm about to format my hard drive due to numerous problems with different things) Thanks

Is there a folder inside the UT folder called "saves"??
(it's been a while since I played UT) |

No, it's unfortunately not that easy
But I have had an idea, there is a file User.ini which seems to have information about which levels I've completed already and whether the Trophy Room door is open or not So I reckon I just copy user.ini (it has my name inside it and everything) and put it in when I reinstall I just need confirmation really... Perhaps I should install it into a different folder (or computer) and try it Cheers for the help, Jim |

After all that, I can't really be bothered to try it out before I do it
I'll just go for it tonight (maybe) and let you know how I get on in the morning (maybe) ![]() Jim |

I think you want to save all the ini files in the system directory, this contains your preferences, your favorite servers and what levels you have completed.

Thanks for the comments, I copied User.ini ONLY to the clean install
(I read your post too late, Trent Steel) It works fine! So just to confirm, to backup your current Tournament standings in Unreal Tournament simply copy User.ini from the System directory (it remembers all of your options for controls etc except the video and sound options) Thanks again, Jim |
