Exclamation

It seems that games which require a 3D acclerator 'hangs' on my computer. My PC doesn't hang while I in Windows or other programs, but in games it does. So far, games which have hung are FIFA 2000, Jagged Alliance 2, Midtown Madness and Need for Speed - Porsche 2000.
I'm using an ATI Rage 128 16 mb card on a PII 333MHz with 64mb ram.
Can anyone help me with my problem please?

crashes can also be due to your soundcard in 3d games-- what sound card are you using?

umm... sb16
somehow I feel that it's due to my computer's memory. because my computer doesn't seem to run as smoothly as before.
for example, when I am playing some mp3 music on my computer and I open a program, the music pauses for a few seconds before continuing to play. this problem only arose recently. what is really wrong?

Getting another 64 meg will help for sure.

As to your computer hanging, it could be related to heat. Check to see what temps your cpu run at under heavy load.
