new games?

i know many people post this type of thread, so ill be short. this past year i've played wolfenstein, mohaa, jedi knight 2, gta3 (never really got into it though) and nolf 2, but now i can't seem to find anything interesting. hitman 2 seems too stealthy for me, any suggestions?

thanx

I would suggest you check out, if you haven't already, Warcraft 3, Battlefield 1942, or UT2K3; all three of these are very entertaining games. Both BF1942 and UT2K3 had/have playable demos out, so if interested check them out.

Sometimes it's fun just to go back thru all your old favorites!

My brother runs NFS2 on the system I built(AMD Athlon XP 1700+, 512MB DDR2100, MSI GeForce4MX 440), and it runs pretty smooth.

I've heard great things about 1942 even though it doesn't sound like it's up my alley. I love Warcraft3. It's just like a turn based stategy game with graphics. Very addicting. Build build build! I don't know if you're into the mmorpg thing but a new one is coming up that looks really good called Horizons. I'm hearing some good things about that one where you can make your own superhero, too. Name's escaping me right now, though...

All FPS and no Alien vs Predator?
If you buy that one you should consider Alien vs Predator2, the expansion pack.

On second thought scratch the expansion pack. One third of it was great and the other two campaigns were boring.
Go with the first, and keep the lights on.

The MOHAA add-on, Spearhead, is coming out later this month, new campaign, a load of new weapons, new MP maps and a new MP mode of play called Tug-of-war. Its gonna be great. Another one I'm looking forward to is Breed, due out next year

No One Lives Forever 2 is getting great reveiws. And Civ III is pretty good, and the soone-to-be-released multiplayer version should be very interesting. Haven't tried it, but Unreal Tournament 2003 got dissed by Computer Games mag, and they've never steered me wrong. I wouldn't buy it anyway, because I'd prefer my multiplayer fps to be realistic, ala Counter Strike. (or at least as realstic as an fps can be)

Hitman 1 sucked, so I'm leary of 2.

i know it's old, but for fps, there's no topping Counter Strike. Human competition beats the hell out of computer competition any day.

i dunno, graphically i found 1 better than 2 actually. and the movement is totally gamepad oriented, 1 was really for pc.
like mentioned before also to much stealth stuff in 2. (i like rambo style hehe)

NFS2 i find way to much arcade game. if i get a racing game, i want it to be at least somewhat at simulation level (or im getting too old for action games:-)

im hoping nolf2 will be any good( dont think its out in belgium yet). i found 1 totally hilarious. made me fall off my chair laughing at some points.

Undying with the volume cranked up and the lights off.

Make sure you are alone in your home.

Undying is fantastic..... as far as I got.... Workin' long hours and days when I tried it and thought it was going to be great -- but I couldn't get past the skeletons.

Any ideas on how??

It's been a while, Nuclear Krusader, since I've played it. Gee, it's been at least a couple of mobos and HDs ago! I can remember going thru a big mansion / house, had to do some jumping around on stones that were over space, then I had to crawl into a hole into a tunnel of some sort. That's when I met the skeletons. They wooped my bootie but good. I made an attempt with every weapon I had, but nothing seemed to effect them. Sadly, haven't played it since, as it is a good game!

Have you checked the walkthrus yet? I have only played it once so I cannot remember exactly where those skeletons appear. Were they full body skeletons or flying skulls?

Hi TwoRails, I remember that place, I think you haven't killed the first sister yet, check out this FAQ:
http://db.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/file/undying.txt

As for new games, I suggest Mafia, the game is getting great reviews too, I already have it, and I like it, it's a great mixture between Max Payne and GTA.

ok, GTA3 has way to many glitches to be able to play...did they bother to make a patch for it?
