Got vice city, its great!!
I just picked up Vice City as soon as I got out of school tuesday!! Let me tell you it doesnt disapoint. Yeah its like gta III but it has soo much more to offer. You've got over 40 weapons.... over 150 cars..... and motorcycles. THe police is alot smarter than they used to be...and yes LAzlo is back on teh vrock station!! This game has over 3 times the amount of radio teh old one has, and the graphics have been slightly improved.... You can buy stip bars, apartments and hotels as well! Stealing a golf cart and doing a drive by while listening to Miles Davis is just hilarious in my opinion. I love the game. If you like GTA III you'll definately lvoe this one. I heard its longer than gta III as well. So if you have a ps2, go pick it up.

is it just for the ps2 or is it coming out for the xbox and pc.......

I think its just for ps2.. I know its not comeing out for the xbox .... I dont think it'll be coming out for pc either, but I could be wrong

ok, i dont mean to bust anyones bubble but...i have some bad news for some. Rockstar, developers of vice city, made a deal with Sony which was that the Playstation2 would be the only system that vice city would be released on for 2 yrs. yes two years. After that, rockstar will release it for the PC and whatever other console is out. i know....bummer.

its coming out for Xbox and PC! they signed a deal to release it earlier on the PS2, because its an inferior version(probably one in the graphics and frame rate area)
sposed to be V good on all platforms tho ^^^^how did i miss the above post! thats the only way they can show better sales figures now that the PS2 is outdated, |

yeah, 2 years is a LONG time in the gaming industry by then something else will be out. At Circut City theres a deal Xbox, controller, 2 games for 200 bucks. its a heck of a deal... and its VERY reasonable... so nows a good time to get into gaming since the prices of dropped on the xbox.

This is just so typical using software to boost the hardware sale. Curse those Sony people. I want a PC version of Vice City now!
I am going to buy a voodoo doll. That will teach them not to mess with PC owners. |

Well its called business.... and hey, I mean GTA III might pass the Sims on the top selling game of all time.. I mean Rockstar North and Sony Signed a deal they are both making tons of money off of it... just go buy a ps2!! Its only 200 bucks... and there are soo many titles out there to suffice your gaming needs... I used to be all about gaming on my pc, but consoles have games I cant get anywhere else and multiplayer is a breeze as well....

ok lets see here..... Microsoft is buying up all these 3rd party game developers to feed to its xbox. Im glad Rockstar North is making Vice City exclusively for the ps2. Just saying Microsoft already owns enough they dont need to buy up the grand theft auto franchise too....

yeah I know... But I mean all the thrid party developers are being sucked into Microsoft because they joined the console gaming industry... its kinda making me mad. Now all thsoe companys who used to make games for multiple consoles are now just "xbox exclusives" plus since nintendo doesnt seem to be doing as well as they used to be, they might not make another console and turn into sega. Just make games for other people... I dont know it just seems like its another thing for them to take over. But xbox sales didnt go to well in Japan did they? I still think Sony will have a good grasp on the gaming industry.....

So it’s better that it's Sony’s fault then Microsoft’s fault that there won’t be a PC version now?
As a consumer who would like a PC version it makes no difference what so ever to me. The bottom line in both cases is that there will be no PC version now. Thus it makes no difference what so ever if it's Sony or Microsoft. I personally find any deal made to limit a game to one console unfortunate from a consumers point of view no matter who makes the deal. |

Yes, I see what you are saying. BUT Sony just signed a deal, they didnt buy them out like microsoft has already tried. If microsfot buys out a game developer it will onyl go to ONE platform and that is their XBOX, because they are trying to pump life into it. And none the less vice city is only on ONE platform, but they are making plenty of money..

I know what you mean. I was really looking forward to HALO and we all know what happened to that game. FPS games are just not meant for consoles.
