dvd to bmp??

Anyone know of a single program that will rip a still from a dvd and convert it to a bmp?

PowerDVD and WinDVD do that for sure, dunno about other programs.

I have both PowerDVD and WinDVD...I guess I didn't do my homework on this one...
and thanks for the link Iman74. What I want to be able to do is pause playback on my pc's DVD player, capture and convert to bmp
I think this hardware won't help in this project, but it does look like a great little box for what it can do....

Since I own PowerDVD I can tell you that PowerDVD's snapshot function can be customized. Making a shapshot will be saved to clipboard or directly as a BMP file, or even a background (in Power DVD 4.0).

I've been using the ATI DVD player that came with my All in Wonder. I've had nothing but trouble with it.
I was pleasantly surprised at how flawlessly Power DVD runs...and the photo-capture options are great. Finally a software program that has some actual THOUGHT behind it's design.
