What you are referring to is called a "rip", where some of the contents are left out to make the file size smaller. This is highly illegal; contents left out or not.
Anyway, I am sure it could be done, but as far as getting help for it here, you may be completely out of luck. If you can't afford the retail version, get a job. The retail should leave you with no question as to its legitimacy or quality as well. And it sounds like you are ready to pay money for a rip!? So you support the business that causes video game prices to rise, which leads you to these situations where you have a choice between a subpar product and a quality one? Kind of ironic isn't it? Buy the retail, be happy, and read the Forum FAQ. Piracy is for morons. Last edited by DilLy; 11-04-2002 at 11:07 PM. |

Dilly: We will handle indiscretions and violations of forum policies. Please keep it respectful even if it's a blatant violation, your comments are more out of line than the original post, the FAQ addresses this too!
For the record - to the original poster - whoever is selling you games on CD-R is violating copyright law and you can be considered an accomplice to a "crime" by buying them. This thread is closed. |
