2 Video cards?
Is it possible to have two Video cards in your computer at one time and to switch between the cards at either bootup or in windows?
I have an ATI all-in-wonder (PCI) that I want to use for TV operation. And I have a new MSI GF4 (AGP) that will be here tomorrow that will be used mainly for gaming. I dual boot XP & Win98, 98 for gaming and XP for everything else. Thanks Jim Last edited by jimhannon; 11-11-2002 at 06:49 PM. |

You read my mind!!! I just edited the post for that reason. The ATI is a PCI card and the MSI is an AGP card. |

It is my belief that if one is a PCI and the other is an AGP that you can switch back and forth. Alothough I have never thought about doing it or trying it.

Just install the cards and go into the BIOS and select the card you want to be the primary display device. And then boot into windows. Windows will then detect the cards, and install the drivers. When you want to change cards go into the BIOS and select it as the primary and connect your monitor to it.
