Nope. The Sony's online plan is easier and more affordable I believe. It doesnt cost anything a month b/c it runs through most everyones ISP... and the add on is like 30 buclks and it comes with a free coupon for Twisted Metal Black online. Installation is pretty much a breeze as well. You can use your broadband or dial-up to play. It doesnt cost anything a month either. Microsofts does cost a small fee a month to have. I dont have xbox live put sonys online gaming with the ps2 so far has been well worth it for me.

Actually,i think that PC is still not the best for gaming. Some of my favourite game like Resident evil for the gamecude is never going to be release on the PC.Also,PC have too little console action or adventures game like Resident evil,House of the Dead,Virtual fighter or wrestling game from the console.

This is what I read in an article of a magazine. Since it already has the ethernet adapter one it, you have to go out and buy the xbox live kit. I think it guides you through it there. But no you dont use your ISP. Microsoft has made their own like dedicated network/servers for xbox live only. It has a low price per month. Now the ps2... THAT uses your isp. Xbox's you use microsofts network and you pay a small monthly fee for it. But hey I believe the package comes with 1 game.... a headset... the software to set up xbox live...

haha you wish right? I mean if the pc had half of the classic titles ps2 and xbox have. GTA Vice City, Halo and Halo2(they are coming out for the pc right?)GT3, Sega gt 2003... ANd many of squaresofts creations along with mandy Capcom classics just cant be found on the pc. Not to mention many Sega and Nintendo titles that cant be found elsewhere. Hey, if you are a gamer you should own a console... they have THE best games around. Also the pc always gets the games late. by the time they hit the shelves for pc's, most consoles had already ahd them out for at least 3-6 months... owell just my opinion eh?
