i bought the kit and a game to play online. i realized that even tho i already prepaid for a year subscription microsoft still wants me to give them my credit card for renewal for next year.....looks like the live kit will be making a return trip to circuit city......

Nope. The Sony's online plan is easier and more affordable I believe. It doesnt cost anything a month b/c it runs through most everyones ISP... and the add on is like 30 buclks and it comes with a free coupon for Twisted Metal Black online. Installation is pretty much a breeze as well. You can use your broadband or dial-up to play. It doesnt cost anything a month either. Microsofts does cost a small fee a month to have. I dont have xbox live put sonys online gaming with the ps2 so far has been well worth it for me.

i bought my son xbox for xmas and i was looking at htat,dont understand how it worksdo you use your own isp for it .is it the same as playing computer games online.why would you have to pay to use it?

XBOX!! PS2!!! WHAT THE HECK! Its PC games!! let me say that again PC GAMES!! Whats the matter with you ppl?! Ya'll need your heads examined! We all know the PC is the best for games! lol

Actually,i think that PC is still not the best for gaming.Some of my favourite game like Resident evil for the gamecude is never going to be release on the PC.Also,PC have too little console action or adventures game like Resident evil,House of the Dead,Virtual fighter or wrestling game from the console.
