9700pro Updated Drivers

I went to ATi's site and I didn't see any drivers specificly for my card, although the card was made by Giga-Byte (maya II) it's still powered by a Radeon 9700pro GPU.
All I seen was some catalyst stuff on ATi's site and when I had installed the computer wouldn't boot into windows past the loading screen. So I cam back in under safe mode and re-installed the original CD drivers to get back in...

Where can I find updated drivers for the 9700pro?
Maybe some underground ones too?
In the meanwhile I'll try 3dfxfiles

Did you uninstall the previous ATI Display Driver and ATI Control Panel?

What OS are you using?

Since your card is "Powered" by ATI... Go here to find the CATALYST RADEON 2.4 (7.79) Display Drivers and the ATI Control Panels 6.13.10.3041 for WinXP. If you're using an OS other than WinXP, the drivers & control panel software for the other OSs are listed at the above url also.

You'll need to install both the drivers and the control panel for the card to work correctly.

If the CATALYST 2.4 Driver doesn't work, you can download previous drivers under the "Archived Drivers" link at the url listed above.
