Angry Fire HALF_LIFE connection problem

I just loaded the game and downloaded some maps now I cannot connect to anything on the team fortress site. anyone know what the problem might be???
I try to update the list of games available and get connection could not be established. I did connect earlier, but that was before I unzipped my games...
HELP.
Thanks

Also make sure you're not filtering out the game you want to play. I've done that by accident a time or two.

You can't load the TFC website?? Or you can't get any servers through TFC to play online? If its the website whats the address? Maybe the site is down for some reason. If your trying to connect to the servers, what does it say? You may need to refresh your connection. Do you have cable or dialup? Sometimes the WON servers for Half-Life and the mods is down or acts screwy. Did you try rebooting your computer? Sometimes rebooting works, don't know why, but it does

I have downloaded the latest update..but also my filter is not working(was not) it kept trying to download 30000 sites. But that was before I unzipped my maps. I restarted my pc and no connect to Team Fortress. I just tried Half-Life and eas able to connect but couldn,t connect to any one game, kept telling me that my DLL"S were not same as server??
I have cable connection, and I cannot connect to the server, not sure what the address is but just whatever it connect to when you select update servers...

At some times, the server list may be down or taking a while to download. It messes up sometime, try again in half an hour or so.

Hmm..never heard of it. Is it similar to gamespy? I'll have to check that out. Gamespy can tend to be a bit buggy. Were can I get it at?
