Re
Intel P4 2.00 GHz
512 MB of RAM Video card is a stock Intel that came with my CPU and sucks Windows XP No way that I'm buying a new CPU! This is 3-4 weeks old! I want to improve FPS for Battlefield 1942 (a game for CPU) because I get 15 FPS. I should get much better. For Counter Strike, I get about 70. However, I can play through the bad FPS in Battlefield, it's OK. That sucks *ss because these are new and fast, however they don't have a basic thing that can be upgraded. |

Your video card can't be upgraded? Is it onboard and there's no AGP slot or what's the problem with upgrading it? From the looks of what you listed, the video card is most likely the bottleneck in the system.

Yes, the VC is the problem.

Is this supposed to be a continuation of an existing thread?
Sorry about that, but that's what you get for buying a HP, basically a non-upgradeable computer. If it's less than 30 days old, can you return it? |
