Codecs

Need something to identify what video codec was used on a vid. Suggestions?

I take it, Demosthenes, that Right Click > Properties > Details doesn't give what you're looking for ? That seems to not work on all types of vid files on my system. Do you have vid editing software installed? That should give more details...

um, winxp does an "OK" job
might want to try www.vcdhelp.com for further enhanced tools

You can also try Http://dvd.box.sk/ for some nice video codecs.
