I bought Hard truck 2 the other day and I cant seem to get it to work every thing goes ok til I try to start a new game and the screen goes black I dont understand what is wrong I have tried just about every thing I know to do. I updated to directx 7.0 I updated my video drivers, I installed the latest patch for the game. Does anyone have any ideas

We need more info. Video card name and brand, OS installed, etc.

Smile Hard Truck

I have a Cceleron 333 192 mb memory
17 gig Maxtor hd
40 Memorex cdrom
12x8x32 Sony cdrw
The card is a Raven 16mb made by Quantum 3D card.
I have windows 98 second edition. I have directX 7.0 installed along with the latest patches for the game and also the latest drivers for the game. If you need any other info just let me know. Thanks for the help

Shane254, make sure that in the settings, you have the game set up to play under direct 3d. Your video card has a 3DFX chipset and will not play that game in Glide.
