bit map to Jpeg

I have a folder with about 26 pic's in bitmap form. I would like to change them to a jpeg. I know how to do this one at a time, but what about all at the same time?
Thanks

The free Irfanview (www.irfanview.com) has a batch conversion utility.

Damn, I use Irfanview. I use it also to convert bitmap's to jpeg's, but didn't see a way to do a whole folder.
Guess I need to read more.
Thanks

File, batch conversion/rename, it opens an explorer-like window where you can highlight multiple files on the right side and add them to the left side, then select the output directory and batch conversion settings.

Try this little prog. It's small, simple, and effective.

[edit] Never mind. I can't get it to attach. It keeps timing out on me. Darn dialup.

force_flow2002,
What is the name of the prog you were going to upload? I will find it. Thanks

morriswindgate,
Yes that works, but I believe you can only do one at a time. If you have 50 or so pic's, well, that could take some time.

Irfanview works quit well, as I have used it for some time, but did not realize that it could do the batch conversion.
If anyone else needs to switch a bunch of pic's, it is the way to go. I owe a debt of gratitude to GLC for telling me about it, it has saved me a LOT of time.

happy holidays

It's called 123jpg, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I don't remember where I got it from either.

I'll keep trying to upload it. I always seem to have trouble uploading stuff...

[edit] I'm going to see if a moderator can help...

Okay, I'll try something clever now. I've uploaded it to a local server and am now attaching it.

[edit] well that didn't work.
