my Radeon is starting to Bite!

I got this line going accross the bottom of my screen, always there, I've rulled the monitor out of the deal though.
Its actually a Gigabyte Mya II, Radeon 9700 Pro.
i"m gonna try switchin my drivers because I dunno where to get the latest ones from... Gigabyte, or ATi?

How can I overclock this thing?

KronoLeginaire,

You can get the latest drivers & control panel for your card at the "Powered by ATI" drivers site. Go here.

You'll need to uninstall the your old driver & control panel, then install the ones you've downloaded.

What version are you running now? I installed CATALYST 2.5 and had to go back to 2.4 due to some difficulties with my Aquarium screensaver.

I've heard some people are going back as far as CATALYST 2.3 due to some problems with 2.4... If you want an older version, they're available at the above link under "Archived Drivers".

Make sure you install the drivers, then the control panel. Allowing the system to reboot after each.

HTH

Happy holidays!

Grrr!!
That rage3d mess didn't help, I think it made things worse.
Ever since I installed it things have ben loading down.
Like in a downwards motion. THey start building pixle at the top then end at the bottom instad of it all appearing together, it may have been the driver change. I'll switch back
