Are you talking about Sonic the Hedgehog? If so my kids play it on XP. For some of those older games I downloaded a program that will slow the fram rates down so they are playable. I don't know if they use it for that particular game or not.
If you are talking about Sonic DVD authoring software I have never used it. |

I am talking about Sonic the Hedgehog. after it finishes installing, it says searching for DirectX then I get an error in ssp.exe message. if I try to play I get a message saying "This application failed to start because DINO2D.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

That's weird I know we bought it at Wal-Mart. One of those cheapies deals that gave you a bunch discs for something like ten bucks.
I just popped them installed and installed them and hung around long enough to see they could play them. They seem to run fine, they would tell me if they were getting any errors os haing difficulty. I found this link that has several links that talks about fixing problems with the DIN2D.dll file not found. HTH http://radaruol.uol.com.br/radaruol.html?q=dmix.dll |
