Quake online matches
Are there still Quake 1 internet servers available?
With my lousy dial-up connection I think it's the only FPS I can play online. TIA

Good Old Quake... like mom used to make!
There are several servers here. By the way... anyone got an old Quake Cd they want to sell/give away? I'd love to play some good old Quake with the new Direct3D or OpenGL support that's available on the net. I've seen screenshots of the "new improved" Quake and it looks a heck of a lot better than it did "back in the day".

It was a very laggy experience.
What servers should I join? Those which have the ping number greater or lower? |

Lower pings = faster game experience (less lag).

But you need a killer VC to play that mod.
