Display settings won't change
Hey guys, i've had many problems with my computer and you guys have solved them all. So hopefully you can do the same for this one.
I just installed a new cd burner, and i turned on my computer and the display settings were at 16 colors, and 640x480. Everytime i go to change them is asks to restart my computer, even though in the advanced option i have it so it sets the display without restarting. then when it does restart, it will go to the windows 98 starting up page, and restart again, this time is safe mode, then i have to restart to get out of safe mode, and the settings are still at 16 colors and 640x480
I have tried getting the latest drivers for my video card, PNY nVIDIA Verto TNT2 M64 32Mb, that didn't work, i've tried going into my system menu and going to devices and deleting that video card of the device menu to start all over, and it didn't do that.
thanks for all your help in the past, but i'd really like this problem fixed, i'm half way through my new game, a gift from christmas, and i'd really like to finish!!!
