Video Capture
Hey guys, I was wondering exactly what I needed to capture a video feed from my VCR into a file on my computer?
My old computer had audio-video input jacks for input, which matched up the cables for the audio-video output on the VCR. My new computer does not have this however. These are the components I have: GeForce2 MX 440 Video Card -- has S-Video slot; can that be used for video input, etc? A 3-slot FireWire Card that goes into the PCI slot. However, my VCR obviously does not have firewire output. Is there some type of device that takes normal A-V jacks as input, and uses firewire for output that can be connected to the card? Thanks in advance. |
