video card q's

What is sideband addressing? Should I enable it or not? Whats is DiME transffering mode? Is it better than DMA? Thanks for the helps

Sideband addressing provides additional channels for transmitting data requests between the graphics processor and the system. I enable it.

DiME is Direct Memory Execution. It is the name of AGP best operating mode achieved by using AGP aperture with GART. GART is in your AGP drivers in the OS. DiME and DMA don't have anything to do with each other.

I'm pretty sure you don't enable DiME. As long as you have the chipset drivers installed it will be enabled. To enable sideband addressing you will find that option in your BIOS setup. Refer to your motherboard manual if you can't find it.
