Angry Fire Radeon 9000 PRO with GTA3

I recently bought a radeon 900 pro that has 65 mb. Have noticed a little diferrence in most games but GTA 3 is still horibble on my comp about 5 F.P.S. My old video card was a radeon 128 pro with 16 mb. Also noticed that loading times seem VERY long.
Thanks

Have you installed the latest drivers? Do you have a lot of programs running in the task bar (like KaZaa). Take a look at the task monitor (ctrl+ald+del) and see what shape your resources are at.

Yes I have installed the newest drivers, no visible effect. Checked the programs using msconfig in run. Just tried Uunreal Tournament (not UT 2003) with details maxed out and at 800*600 resolution was a bit laggy at times.
