Hi kittyfire,

I assume you mean GeForce, and there are different models that would make a big difference (ie. regular GF2 vs GF2MX) as well as the type of memory (SDR vs. DDR). Do you know the brand and model numbers?

I noticed that once difference was AGP vs. PCI. AGP is preferred, but I don't care too much for the 32MB of RAM. I would go 64MB. And yes, I agree with Dr. Z, some more details would be helpful.

I think my biggest question is... well AGP is faster but more RAM can handle more information quickly... so if this was a race, which would win? Assuming both cards are created equally. Same manufacturer, etc...

Hmm. that's a toughie. Now lets put in one more controlling factor. The systems should be both the same. Of course it would make a difference what speed the system is, as well (ie 266MHz vs. 1.2GHz)

I'm guessing less than new so let's say a PIII around 700mhz with 256M of system RAM.

The AGP card. AGP bus bandwidth blows away PCI.

Not for sure, but you would notice it if you were playing a texture-heavy game; in that case, the PCI bottleneck would become more apparent.
