Unknown pool game

I was playing on a friend's laptop this morning. A rather good pool game with various options (9 ball, 8 ball, Pool, Snooker, Multiplayer Killer Pool) and can play against friends or against computer players

You could replay your shots at various speeds, save the shots etc

I really want to get it, just wondered if any of you people had any idea what the name of this game is. It's really annoying me!

You can select different tables (one with a big star in the middle, the other one half red the other green)

I think it was called something like "Cueballs" but can't find it on the net

Jim

So it wasn't an online pool game like at a pogo.com or at yahoo.com right? You should check out ebgames.com and search for PC pool games and see if any in particular ring a bell.

After all, it was called CueClub

I got it, and for some reason it doesn't work under Windows 2000 (whenever a ball is potted in the bottom right hand pocket the game quits to windows)

Under XP however, it works fine. And my friend has XP as well so I don't know if it's just my copy of Windows 2000 that won't play it.

Thanks for the help,

Jim

Thanks

I did try the patch a while back but it made no difference whatsoever and still crashed. On XP it works fine though, and that's what I have now

Thanks again

OK, now this is weird. I am now trying to play the game under Windows XP, and it crashes whenever a ball is potted in the bottom row of pockets

Weird.
