Cool Help with Virtual memory

I have both UT2003 and battlefield1942, when ever i play UT it is fine. When ever i play 1942 it is very choppy/laggy and a message keeps poping up saying low on virtual memory. The computer is a Windows XP and has 256MB of ram. I have the page filings thing set at 382MB. Can you please give me some advise.

Your PF should be set to about 3x your total amount of RAM, especially if you have only 256MB, as you do. Also, you can try and put your PF on a little-used partition if you have one available. Some programs are finicky about Virtual Memory, even if your system never uses it; that's the case with my system and Comanche4.

I saw this one before I saw the other one. My advice still applies.
