Video card and cpature question?
I am building a system for home use. One of the objectives is to be able to compile images, analog and digital video and put the final product on vcr tape or cdr.
Using this info, would it be wiser to buy separate video card and capture card OR would an ATI All In Wonder card work? |

For basic video editing, the AIW card would be fine. Take a look at the AIW 8500DV. It has a firewire port if you need it for transferring your digital video.

Hal, I read in Computer Shopper that there were problems with the Firewire port on this card. That was a while ago though. Do you have personal experience with this card. The reason I ask is because I am considering buying one as well.
