video card question

I want to buy the ATI All In Wonder 8500DV 64mb DDR but Im wondering that if this card is good for gaming too. Is this card faster than Geforce 2 Pro 64mb? How fast?

im not fimilar with the card. but i would think that it could pull desient gamming. And yes i would think its fast than the Geforce2 because of the fact that is DDR memory instead of the SD

Go here and you'll see that the ATI is even faster than the GF3 Ti 500. The chart is fantastic and the whole article is even better. Part 2 of this article dealing with slower computer systems just came out, also. So you may want to check it out if your system is closer to a 1 Gig cpu speed as mine is.

Actually, I don't. I would assume the 8500 with 64 mb not designated as LE would be the DV. The LE sort of means Lite Edition, practically speaking, not sure what it means in real life.

BUSHTREE, you're welcome, Tom's has great stuff and those Vid card charts are the best for hard core decision making time!
