What kind of graphics card do you have? Try updating the drivers?

Hi Scienceguymi,
Just some suggestions here, your CD lens might be dirty and not able to read the disk, I would recommend getting a lens cleaner, or maybe a CD cleaner, cause the problem might be on the CD, both can be found at any computer store for pretty cheap. Try messing with your control panel, make sur eyou dont have any programs running that might interfere with it, or if you have a pop stopper on turn it off. If none of those work, I would recommend contacting them, here is a link to their tech support section http://westwood.custhelp.com/cgi-bin...duser/home.php Hope it helps. avx

I myself have had similar probelm's put in 1 cd and it works fine, put it another and the problem happens, a lens cleaner seems to fix it for me everytime, but maybe you have a slightly different problem, I hope the ppl at westwood can assist you more, good luck

My 2 cents: If you have save files I would copy them to a folder and then try uninstall/reinstall. Most of the time that is what support will have you do...so you might as well try it before you go through a 2 hour phone call to tech support.

hehe, Thats a very good 2 cents, but maybe he could write them an email describing his problem...and while he waits, save game files, remove, reinstall, and if that doesnt work atleast his knows he has another answer on the way...wouldnt be too good if the email contained the same directions he just did though

o you havnt yet discovered the importance of CDkeys...haha, I learned a long time ago that CDkey=The game itself, I even have a little book in my dresser drawer that I keep copys of the CD keys, game names, and email adresses at tech support. Hopefully you havnt just thrown it away, I have made that mistake, but good luck all the same, hope the game starts working again, cause they have stopped making Nox and I think it might be difficult to find if you have thrown it away

Thats a good idea avx. I never thought of writing them down. But most are stuck on the cases anyway aren't they?
