Is everyone getting a new vid card?

I come in here and everyone is saying how they are all getting like a new radeon 9200 or a geforce 4...Is this like the time of the season to buy new vid cards? Anyone not going to be needing their old GeForce2 ? I could use if you guys are just gonna leave it in a plastic case or something, cause this old compaq of mine cant play any of my new flashy games ...I dont even think it could handle a GF4 or radeon

Check the sales forum, someone had a gf2mx400 for about 25 bucks. I'm tryin to buy older gf3 cards from people who have recently bought newer gf4s and stuff.

Don't bother buying a new card if you don't have the backbone to back it up. You can buy the best video card on the market but unless you have a good chipset, processor, and a decent amount of RAM, the video card won't be enough.

Is it a market to buy a vid card now? I couldn't tell you; but there is a lot of talk about the AT 9700 and the new NVIDIA card that is coming out. People seem really excited about that.
