Anyone have NOLF2?
I bought the game after reading the review in Maxpc. They were right as far as I'm concerned. The graphics and play are the best I've seen in any game I've played. But I've experienced some problems with the game. Sometimes it will start with no sound at all. Sometimes the sound will stop after the game has run for several minutes. Sometimes, I quit and return to the desk top it's empty. As I clik around the icons begin appearing. MOST of the time the game runs flawlessly. On their web page I see that there are a couple of patches and updates or whatever so I'll download them and see if they fix the problems. Thing is I would think my system would run this without any problems at all. It far exceeds the recommended requirments.
BTW I'm using onboard Realtec 5.1 sound.

Are you using the latest drivers for your sound? Is the 9700 fully supported?

Not sure Dude. It's not on the list of supported sound cards. However it isn't actually a sound card per se. I played the game for several hours last night and it worked fine though. When I left the game all was fine.
