Hello,
I'm looking for a PCI video card for my dad's comp(PII 433,192mb ram)one of the requirements for a GeForce 4 card is a 250w PSU,will a smaller wattage PSU work,lets say 100watts? |

A 100W-150W PSU? That is a very small PSU. Don't think it will provide your VC (or the entire PC for that matter) with enough juice.
My advice is following the mfgr suggestion and get at least a 250W unit.

well. my bros HP has a 100W max lol.. but i was running a Gefore 4 TI4200 and it says 300W power supply and i was running a 250W, and it worked fine.
all you can do is put it in and see if it works. i think that it will power the video card, but the video card just wont be able to perform up to its pentential. |
