Medal of Honor Allied Assault Won't Run!!!
hey kids,
one of my coworkers had a problem with her computer and I told her to do a system restore. everything went perfect...a few days later her son tried to play MOHAA and could not run the game. He was able to run it previously and it all of a sudden flipped out. So I went over there, uninstalled it, clean out the registery entries with RegClean, but when I insert the CD it prompts me to remove the previous installation (which I thought i did) or repair an installation. tried each one of those options two or three times, but no dice. told them to e-mail tech support and they told them to download the latest drivers for their vid-card. they supposedly did (don't know haven't check it out yet) but they told me that it still will not run. any suggestions? |

Hi jsanchez,
Have you checked the program files, maybe they still have a folder in there with savd games or something, and you need to delete that. Sounds very simple when compared to what you have already done, but its a shot in the dark...hope it helps. avx

ive played mohaa for the entire time it was out...and i found many people that had this same exact problem...what you need to do is go to the registry and search around for an ea games installation folder(may be worded differenetly) and then delete the long number file that is in there.....that should solve your installation problem....hope this helps!

you wouldn't happen to know what key it is under? or did you/other people just do a search for EA? I thought RegClean would get rid of all the entries, but I guess not...

With the default installation, it should be: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>EA GAMES. There is a number file under that key.

I had this problem before. In RegCleaner, go in the Uninstall Menu tab, and find MOH there and delete it.
