I'm looking for some reasonably priced video editing software that would enable me to take a segment from a DVD disk and input it into another program..ie PowerPoint. Has anyone seen an animal like this?

There is Digital Video Creator by Dazzle. It hooks up to the computer by the USB port. You can check it out at http://www.dazzle.com and read the specs. Hope this helps.
