Better Multiplayer LAN games?
OK, in your opinions, what are the better LAN games?
My wife, son, and I like to play the odd thing, and the wife is dedicated to fantasy RPG, ala Dungeon Siege, so any major shoot-em-up's she probably won't like. Not into SIMs, nor Age of Whatever types...anything with too steep a learning curve will just frustrate my son (he's challenged). Give me some ideas please. TIA. |

Give Sacrifice a try.
It's an RTS, but the interface is really easy to learn. Was game of the year from several gaming sites a couple years back, shame they never supported it with later patches, could've been a really popular game. |

Stracraft is a pretty good game, fun to play, pretty simple...but it is a war game so your wife might not like it but if you want to check it out www.blizzard.com... maybe she might

Me and my wife like to play motorcross madness or any other driving or motorcycle game and sometimes we play UT together...mostly capture the flag. She goes for the flag and snipe anybody out that gets in her way. Death to all that gets in her way in UT..sorry..got a little carried away there

strike force....a mod for unreal tournament...is a great game to play via lan...its basically similar to counter-strike, a team based fps (im not exactly sure how u define it). Theres even a way that will pit u three on the same team against alot of bots (a mutator thats available)...i dunno....i find it fun at school when i dont have anything esle to do

The idea behind the game is simple Kill all opponents with your choice of Sword, Axe or Hammer. After a while you pick upspecial movements with certain weapons. I love the game personly, hope you enjoy. db |
