Red Alert 2 LAN Problems
I have two computers in the same workgroup and both have an IPX. Everytime I start a Red Alert 2 LAN game, I can't see the other computer in the Lobby. How can start a skirmish between the two computers?

you need to make sure they both have the same ip address (a random one wont work)...that way they are working on the same level...HTH

You cannot use the same IP address on more than one machine on a LAN.
Are you using TCP/IP or IPX/SPX? IP addresses only apply to TCP/IP. |

I'm using IPX, I went to the Westwood website where I was told to set my network number to 00000000 on both computers. So far that didn't work.

I'd be interested to see a solution to this as well. I tried a Red Alert 2 LAN game (skirmish)with a win2k and a windows XP box, and never got it to work either. Had IPX installed too.
