Thumbs down Awww man!SIM CITY 3000 unlimited doesn't supprt Win2k??

Awww?!?!?
Is it true?I just bought it and wen I git home I looked at the bottom of the box and read that Win2k is not supported...

If it's not supported, then it's not supported.

I'm assuming that you're using win2k on you're comp since you're bringing it up.

If it's supported by win98, there's a small possibilty that it may work. If it's supported by 98 and XP, then that possibility goes up a little.

I would suggest going to gaming co's website (off the top of my head, I can't recall who makes the SIM games) and see if there are any win2k versions available.

sorry, if the box says it isn't compatible I doubt it is, they most likely would not want to amke the product look less versatile. If box is un-opened I would return it unless you figure out a surefire answer that it will work(thats just cause I like to avoid confrontations like trying to return opened software and such.)

Well, for the record the normal SimCity 3000 worked fine for me under win2k. HTH

Download the win2k updates. One of them fixes most game problems I believe.

Apparently Nightfire sucks!
I guess I'll be coming back to CompUSA to get my money back...


Can somone please reccomend a game in the sub $30 range,yes I know Ghost Recon is $30,I already have it...
