Does the Ti come with tv tuner software? If not, you need to feed from a cable box or vcr to change channels.

No you can't watch TV with either card.
What you can do is use a TV Screen as a monitor. If you want TV capability you need an All-In-Wonder or a TV add in card. You'll also need cable . Last edited by pam123; 02-02-2003 at 03:38 PM. |

VIVO: Video in/ Video out.
Your digital camera will like it but it will not get you television; that requires a specialist card. |

To be able to watch TV your videocard needs to have a tuner onboard such as the ATI AIW cards. Otherwise like pam123, already mentioned you'll need to buy a separate card. HTH

The Ti4800 is really just a Ti4600 using the AGPX8 setting. If the VIVO is a regular video in/out then you could hook up the video out on your vcr to it a through that get TV on your computer.

Vote for the nVidia. If you can get the 9700 Pro, then I'd vote for that.
Good Luck,

Im gona get the 9500 Pro. I read some reviews and seen someik benchmarks. 9500 PRO came on top over all the Ti's. It was between the 9500 PRO and the 9700 (non PRO) but with my budget im going with the 9500 PRO
