The third digit from the right seems to be counting in half seconds. Very confusing.

yeah thats what i was thinking but then its confusing for whats the days and minutes and all that... i'll try to figure it out and tell you what it says....

edit: ok the 3rd one from the right changes a number every half second so from 0-9 it is 5 seconds... going on that the very first number from left is 500,000 seconds... then 50,000 for second then 5,000 for next then 500 thne 50, then 5, then .5 then .05

anyway i calculated it about 35.36458333333333..... days. And thats basically 35 days 8 hours and 45 minutes... So I looked it up and they are in California which is 3 hours behind me... So on March 15 at 6 am Pacific or 9 am Eastern it'll be out...

now i must rest my brain. oh yeah please tell me if that is the right day... i just added 35 to today (8) and then subtracted 28 for february... i'm guessing its right but i don't feel like counting out the days.

I just tried figuring it out and came up with 84.82 hours asuming the first to 3rd digit from right is in half seconds. About 3.5 days.

look up at my edit...

edit: see the third place changes in half seconds... BUT there are ten numbers it can be so it changes every 5 seconds... which makes the next change completely in every 50 thent eh next is 500 and so on...

How about someone who knows enough HTML that can just dechiper (SP?) the source code.

its actually javascript... i can see what its saying though... it doesn't have anythign as far as i can tell in there for a date... it is asking the server for it and all that.. its all dynamic so i don't see any date...

anyway i still think i'm right in the date i gave up above...

well.. i looked at the source. It's in javascript. It looks as if there are supposed to be hours, minutes, seconds, and tenths of seconds. Which makes no sense because it obviously isn't divided up that way..

while looking thru it i tired to cheat and go to the page where it takes you when the countdown stops and it just has the same countdown... shucks i'd thought i'd beat it...

edit: yeah if you look near teh beginnign ont eh source you'll see it is askign teh server for the time and for the countdown end time... so even if you change your time on your system i don't think it'll change (but i'll try anyway)

edit... ooh it actually did.. i'll tell you the time in a sec

edit: its kinda hard to get it exactly cause what it does is it gets the countdown time left from teh server then uses your comp to continue the countdown time... anyway you are right its around 3 and a half days... but i don't know why cause what i calculated should be right...

edit one last time: anyway its about 1 pm eastern on the 11th... i just don't know why the 35 days and whatever wasn't right... guess i need to get some arithmetics classes again...

ok I am almost positive its 84 hours

look at the first 5 digits from the left right now its 60790. The 5 digit changes every 5 seconds so we take

60790*5 to bring it into seconds. Then we do the big

60790*5= 303950seconds
303950seconds/60= 5065.8333min
5065.8333min*60= 84.430555 hrs

Hmmm.. moving forward in time doesn't change it but moving back does.. I went forward 4 days, and back 4, and then it doubled. That prolly means we were right with about 3.5 days.

I did:

First 6 digits divided by 2. (because it's in half seconds)
Divided by 60. (for minutes)
Divided by 60. (for hours)
Divided by 24 (for days)

if you go forward too far it resets it.. thats because it tells the script that the time has ended and to go to the page they'll set up when its done but right now its just the same countdown..

i just don't get it... i mean that number changes every .5 seconds right? well there are 10 possible numbers in there before it makes the next one change.. that means the next one over changes thru all 10 numbers every 50 seconds... and so on.. why am i wrong? am i stupid or am i missing something or what...

i mean i know i'm wrong and i've done your solutions and understand them, but the thinking i took above should work...

edit: ahh ok i see what i did... i just did the thing one too many times... the first number changes every 50,000 seconds not 500,000... that would account for the extra month in my original guess... lol oh it feels good to make an idiot of yourself..

Well, if 605344 and the last 4 goes up every half a second, then that would be 605344 half seconds, which is 302672 seconds. So I'm not sure on your thinking there. It hurts my brain to follow it. You are prolly making a simple miscalculation or something.

Fastfly,

You definetely divide. I had to figure that out. Think about it. Say it says 2. That is 2 half seconds, which is 1 second. 2/2 is 1.

the 3.5 days is right.. you could also divide it up to the number that changes every half second by five because the whole thing changes once every 5 seconds... anyway guys it'll come out on the 11th around noon... thats the right time.. no more calculations..

That cuts out most of the graphics cards doesn't it? The only common ones out are the Radeon 9XXX's if I am right.

Geforce 2s work with Direct x 9....It just has to work with dx9 and not use features....it must be able to use all the features of at least dx7 though...

My Ti4400 better be able to run it!

P.S. Time runs out at ~12:00PM on the 11th. Using my system clock I got it to run out at 12:01 but I assume that that's just because it's a little fast. It restarted after it got to 01.
