AGP ??s

If my motherboard explicitly requires i use a 1.5V card, why does it give me the option of changing my voltage in .1V increments in BIOS?

if a card doesnt come with heatsinks on the ram, is it a godd idea to get some?

*heh, i just found out that my card should be fitted with 4ns RAM, but its fitted with 3.6ns, yay

It gives you the option if you want to play around with overclocking the video card.

I don't see the need for ramsinks on a video card.

i have OCd the card from 250/500(513 actually) to 275/550, which is up to Ti4400 speed.

which it is doing perfectly fine, run games for hours and everything, no artefacts or anything! so glad

so does that mean i should up the voltage? and if so, by how much?

Cheers

You shouldn't need to increase the AGP voltage to overclock a Ti4200. Push the speed up gradually until tearing, artifacts, or freezing occurs, and then back off by 10-15% just to be on the safe side.

If it runs fine, then you don't need extra cooling.
