Question

I am not a big gammer, but I bought simms theme park for kids, it installed ok but when I click to play it, it flashes back to desktop screen. neve even going to game at all. I have played it on an old laptop... I have checked and updated driver from their website... I have a guillemot maxi gamer phoenix,16 meg card, I have also tried a 8 meg ATI rage pro but I get same results. setting seems to be ok.. I know it's got to be something simple , I hope. Also, Do I need an acceleator card to get 3D performance? Help is appreciated.
Thanks

It could be that the game isn't installing properly. Make sure that the disk is in the drive that you installed it on, and that the drive letter hasn't changed. If it has, you may need to reinstall the game or hack the registry. It could also be an insufficient power supply, have you tried any other graphically intense games? I usually find that it will boot back during a game instead of before if it is the P/S. Your Guillemot should be fine for handling this game, unless there is a specific issue.
