The NFS series, specifically Porsche Unleashed (sadly will not work in Win2K), and Hot Pursuit 2 (which will).

I enjoy Dirt Track Racing 2 even though I still use my keyboard for controls. I have been thinking of getting Nascar 2003 and Nascar thunder 2003.

Some of the better racing games i've played of late would have to be NFS: Hot Pursuit 2 and F1 2002. Looking forward to V8 Supercars Race Driver.

Lil Jim, Is Dirt Track Racing any better than the first version? Ive got both DTR and DTRSprint Cars. I dont like either one. The sound, graphics and controls are aweful. I was wanting to get DTR 2 and try it out, what do you think? Oh, guys. Go to Black Hole Racing and dowmload the trial of Live For Speed. It's worth trying out. The real version of the game doesnt exist yet, so the racing league uses the trial.

Sauron, my dopy of NFS: PU absolutely refuses to do so (work in Win2K Pro, that is). I wonder what was different?

gran turismo 3 (ps2)
apex (xbox) - you're not just racing in this one, you run a car company that grows as you win more races and such.
