Game stays open after closure

OK,

Recently got FIFA2003.

Only thing is, when I click Exit to Windows it DOES exit but in Task Manager FIFA2003.exe remains (using all CPU time and 65MB RAM)

You don't notice this until you go to play the game and of course it won't open because it's already open (sometimes happens with Outlook as well and I'm sure it's happened to you guys before)

Well, any ideas as to how to fix it? It happens every time

I don't have any idea about the game I would probably try uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Might be a good idea to check their web site for patches.

Sounds like you either need to update Office or run the detect and repair function in Outlook. That's not normal behavior for Outlook.
