Unreal tournament G.O.T.Y Edition

Hi all.
Unreal tournament has recently begun to lockup during play. It appears stick in a sound loop of about a second. Is this a known issue?
System;
Pentium II 450
192 meg ram
Matrox G400 graphic card
soundblaster 4.1 digital sound card
Other assorted bits!

I`ve won about 18 matches before it started doing this.

thanks all

Have you tried upgrading UT? The newest version is 436. By upgrading, you may be able to bypass this problem. You can download the update here: http://www.planetunreal.com/files/ut.shtml

Yes I`ve got the 436 patch, I`ve also had mpg`s crash out with this sort of problem. I`ve tried updating the sound card drivers but can`t find out where they are. The sound card is a Soundblaster 4.1 digital. Would reinstalling help?

b/c mpg's crash out during play that can show that it is not the game causing the prob. if u have updated your sound card drivers make sure you also update your video drivers.
